The admins of Creeper Codex spun up the Season 1 server on January 6th and have been busy at work bringing performance optimizations and feature enhancements to the game. Our dedicated, 10 gig server is a workhorse and we’ve added some players to put it through its paces. The beast crunches over NVMe solid state drives to keep read/writes running with the least amount of latency. Daily backups and offsite storage ensure that, should a recovery be needed, it will be full and complete.
While we are highly selective of our player base, this is because we prefer the trust system to overly complex and painful systems of economy. The features we’ve added are meant to enhance the gameplay as opposed to monitoring the behavior of our players. In short, we trust you to be awesome. After all, Minecraft is about the journey. It is not a game that can be won or lost.
